appear in juvenile and domestic relations court. no time has been set. here's what we know about eisenhaur. he ran cross country at virginiatech. officials announced his suspension from the team following his arrest and removed his profile from the tech athletics website.. prior to attending the university... eisenhauer ran track at wilde lake high school. that's located in columbia maryland. he was a standout in the sport while running for the school. meanwhile...we are still working to find out more information about the female arrested in this case. this is natalie keepers. she's a sophomore engineering student at virginia tech. here's video of the area where keepers grew up. she's also from maryland. today blacksburg police announced that the 19 year old is now charged with one felony count of improper disposal of a body. the two virginia tech students remain in custody in connection to the death of nicole lovell. natalie keepers arrest comes in addition to the arrest of david eisenhauer.

saturday on one felony count of first degree murder and one felony count of abduction. both students are being held in a montgomery count jail. as we've reported nicole was last seen at her home in blacksburg. her family says she went missing between midnight and seven a-m wednesday. since then...officers from seven agencies ...including the f- b-i..focused on a one mile radius around nicole's home. in news conference held saturday...author ities said they found the teen's body in surrey county north carolina. residents in surry county are reacting to the shocking news that the body was found in their neighborhood. we saw the officers going by and we knew then that something had to be bad for all the officers we saw. police held another news conference this afternoon to break down how they got to this point in the investigation. that's when they revealed that eisenhaur knew nicole beforehand. police say he used that

w-s-l-s 10's rob manch has more. police chief anthony wilson says this crime has torn the blacksburg community apart. two aspiring virginia tech students are now tied to the abduction and death of 13- year-old nicole lovell. 888vo888 one of those students, 18 year old david eisenhauer, is now charged with lovell's murder. his alleged accomplice, 19- year old natalie keepers, is charged with helping get rid of the body. even more disturbing, police say eisenhauer knew lovell beforehand and planned her death. lt. mike albert, blacksburg police: 00:02:51 "based on evidence collected to date, we have determined that eisenhauer and nicole were acquainted prior to her disappearance. eisenhauer used this relationship to his advantage to abduct and then kill her." 888vo888 police say they've received around 3 hundred tips to aid in their investigation. they followed up on one of those sunday, searching a pond on virginia tech's campus for evidence. police say this investigation is far from over. but as it moves forward, wilson

remember and pray for the lovell family at the center of it all. in the newsroom, rob manch, w-s-l-s 10. that investigation continued today on virginia tech's campus. several divers searched for evidence in a pond near the university's veterinary school. while police won't say what they're looking for ... state police have confirmed it's in connection to the nicole lovell murder investigation. lovell's church held a special service this morning to remember her and support her family. youth pastor josh blankenship at auburn baptist church says this is a shock to a community that loved and cared for lovell. she participated in sunday school at auburn, riding the bus every sunday with her friends. blankenship says she will be missed dearly. josh blankenship, youth pastor: 00:56:27 "everybody is in shock. you ask yourself why this would happen to such a sweet, innocent, girl nicole. she was

never, never met a stranger and was very faithful at the church. loved the lord and was very loved by her family." blankenship says he's asking everyone to keep nicole's family in their prayers. blacksburg middle school is providing comfort for students following nicole's death. the school will have extra counselors on hand when classes resume monday. lovell was a seventh grader at blacksburg middle. montgomery county school spokeswoman brenda drake says nicole previously attended margaret beeks elementary. special rooms will be set up for students needing extra time. and they'll start the day in "teams" where they talk about what happened and how to cope with loss. a message will also be sent to parents tonight to provide resources. including information on how to talk to their kids about the recent events. the recent string of events has shaken up the community. we asked you our viewers...for

campaign fever in iowa ... as the presidential candidates make their closing arguments to voters who are the first in the nation to have their say. wsls 10's chief national correspondent jim osman has the latest from iowa. nats hillary sanders hillary clinton and bernie sanders crisscrossed iowa over the weekend. the last des moines register poll has secretary clinton slightly ahead but digging deeper into the numbers her supporters are less likely to change their minds than sanders which surprised some political analysts. nats trump cruz donald trump as well is slightly ahead of texas' ted cruz... they

voters in iowa which dominate the iowa caucuses. trump has gained traction as of late with evangelicals. another surprise as trump's presbyterian background wouldn't typically be a great fit with that sector of voters nats the nominees for each party won't be determined just in iowa... tho the fate of lagging candidates may be... former pennsylvania senator rick santorum who won iowa in 2012 and is dead last in polls may be headed to the exit if things improve but former maryland demoratic governor martin omalley who is trailing clinton and sanders vows to head to new hampshire after iowa. sot as folks in new hampshire like to say - iowa picks corn new hampshire picks presidents but does go first.

last night at louisville. in a tough environemnt against the 16 ranked cardinals.. the cavaliers handed them the worse loss they've seen all season winning 63-47. anthony gill and malcolm brogdon led the team with 13 points a piece. they return to action wednesday against boston college. some acc action happening this afternoon.. wake forest on the road at #25 ranked notre dame. -the fighting irish off to a good start.. demetrius jackson makes the 3 point jumper to get an early six point lead. -bryant crawford sings one from deep for the deacs to keep it close.. he finished with a team high 20 points. -notre dame took a big lead in the second half and zach august makes a nice move underneath for two of his 21 points as the irish go on to win 85-62. it is just one week away.. super bowl 50 is quickly approaching..the carolina panthers and the denver broncos both left home
